How to apply for the Learner's Licence?

To apply for this you need to follow the prescribed format and apply to the Local Transport Office in your own region. For this you require passport-sized photographs of yours, a proof of your age along with the residence proof. Also, you must have declaration of medical fitness plus the required fee. Once your documents are verified, you need to take the Learner’s Test. For this you can prepare from the handbook of traffic rules, signs as well as regulations that is provided with the application form. If you pass the Learner’s Test, you will be given the Learner’s Licence. If not, then you can take the test again.

How to apply for the Permanent Licence?

Depending on your age, you can apply for the Permanent Licence only after 30 days and within the time span of 180 days from the issue of the Learner’s Licence. Again, you need to be well versed with the vehicle systems, driving, traffic rules and regulations. You will again have to give a driving test, for which you need to get a vehicle along.  Pass the exam and get the licence or else take the exam again.
