Once in a dream and now in hands this newly launched National Common Mobility Card (NCMC) is a real relief for regular commuters. On 4th March Prime Minister Modi launched NCMC card after inaugurating the new metro train service in Ahmedabad.
One Nation, One Card
Commonly known as One Nation, One card is a card embedded for various services. Many are calling it Desi card for Commuters. But whatever said and done, once it will be in common men hand it will definitely make their life super easy. It can be used for paying retail shopping, railway, bus travel, parking, toll etc. Apart from all this cardholder is supposed to withdraw cash from this card.
It can also be known as an all-rounder, you can use it for fulfilling multiple purposes and without any hassle. With one card, one access- things become easy to maintain and regulate. It gives you the freedom to maintain a stock of numerous types of cards be it metro, ATM, debit, credit etc in your clutch.
India joined the bandwagon
This National Common Mobility Card runs on RuPay debit/ Credit/ prepaid platform. Soon these will be available with more than 25 banks across the country. Including India, there are few other countries that have “one nation, one card” technology in place and India too has joined this bandwagon.
